Long Runs - Good Runs !

Put on your hat and shades.

Grab your iPod.

Go out on the road and shake it.

You run long and deep into a therapeutic, hypnotic state.

Breathe.

You want to go far away from home.

Be as anonymous and as unnoticeable as a bird.

Get lost in the flow of nature or the sea of humanity.

Clear your mind of speed, time or where you need to go.

You put your back against your starting point and move. Slow or fast, it’s not important. You just want to keep moving.

Observe and soak in your exploration.

This is your world that is going on around you.

This is what you are missing when sitting at home on the couch.

Enjoy your talent, your skill, your strength, your commitment.

You are a Marathon Runner.
